CEDA’s comprehensive Corporate Orientation introduces all new employees to our organization, core values and safety culture. In addition to the Corporate Orientation, new field employees will learn about on-the-job safety through CEDA’s Field and Driver’s Orientations and obtain their certificate in WHMIS 2015.

Leadership

With Our People being one of CEDA’s core values, we recognize the importance of providing our employees with the necessary training to enhance their leadership skills. We offer a variety of training courses that are tailored to specific roles and responsibilities within the organization.

Apprenticeship

CEDA is committed to developing skilled trade and crafts men and women through the apprenticeship continuance program for recognized trade certificates in Canada.

Educational Assistance

CEDA promotes learning through many educational institutions (including numerous colleges and universities). Employees can apply for tuition reimbursement for courses they choose to take to advance their employment with CEDA. We also assist our employees in applying for government funded programs.

CEDA Indigenous Operator Training Program

We provide assistance for our Indigenous employees who are looking to obtain their Class 1 or Class 3 driver’s licence to advance into an Operator position. Once licence requirements are met, we pair the candidate with an experienced Operator to receive three months of on-the-job training with continuous support and resources.
