CALGARY, AB – CEDA, specializing in industrial maintenance, turnaround, and environmental services, has once again attained the Best Managed Companies Gold status after successfully requalifying in 2023. This achievement is a testament to CEDA's unwavering dedication to maintaining exceptional standards and providing high quality services to its clients.
Canada’s Best Managed Companies program awards excellence in private Canadian-owned companies with revenues of $50 million or greater. To attain the designation, companies are evaluated on their leadership in the areas of strategy, culture and commitment, capabilities, innovation, governance, and financial performance.
“I am incredibly proud that we have once again achieved the Best Managed Companies Gold status, a remarkable accomplishment that reflects the hard work of our people who consistently deliver best-in-class services safely and efficiently," says Kevin Fleury, CEDA’s President and Chief Executive Officer. "The Best Managed program has been instrumental in attracting and retaining top talent to our organization, enabling us to assist our clients in navigating the rapidly changing business landscape of today."
Established in 1993 and celebrating its 30th anniversary, Canada’s Best Managed Companies is one of the country’s leading business awards programs recognizing innovative and world‑class businesses. Every year, hundreds of entrepreneurial companies compete for this designation in a rigorous and independent evaluation process.
Applicants are evaluated by an independent panel of judges with representation from program sponsors and special guests.
“The 2023 Best Managed winners exemplify the highest Canadian business standards of innovation, adaptability, and resilience,” says Derrick Dempster, Partner, Deloitte Private and Co-Lead for Canada’s Best Managed Companies program. “Over the past year, companies such as CEDA have been able to thrive by continuously adapting and successfully responding to challenges, seizing new opportunities, leveraging industry leading competencies to maximize their investments, and driving sustainable growth.”
Canada’s Best Managed Companies continues to be the mark of excellence for Canadian-owned and managed companies.
